Ged. Gold in the form of sheet-like aggregates, ingrown in quartz from the Mine de Cros Gallet deposit of the La Bourneix deposit complex in Le Chalard, Haute-Vienne, France. The veins in the region have a long mining history dating back to the 6th century BC. The deposit was exploited in open-cast mining between 1982 and 2002.
