Meteorite - Ribbeck [Aubrite]

The Ribbeck meteorite fell on January 21, 2024 at 01:32 CET in Havelland near Berlin. It came from the asteroid 2024 BX₁, which was only discovered shortly before entering the Earth's atmosphere. Over 200 fragments totaling around 1.8 kg were found in the scattered field south of Ribbeck. The meteorite belongs to the rare class of aubrites (achondrites)
